  • Doc-IT. A full Document Management package for managing revisions of documents. Written in VB.NET with SQL 2005 as database. Desktop, HTML and WPF versions.
  • Workflow Engine. A full Procurement system, handling the whole flow from Quote to Delivery and Returns. Does all client and supplier invoices, payments, credit notes and statements. Written in C#.NET and SQL 2000.
  • Tender-IT. A Web package that handles the tender process.
  • Structured Paperflow . A full stock handling program with purchasing, manufacturing, cutting, appros and sales. This was written for The Tanzanite Company.
Professional Career Services
Support and maintenance of their VB 6 application to manage the process of capturing applicant’s CV’s to finding and handling the placements. Rewrote the system into a Web Front end using ASP.NET and Ajax, with Crystal Reports.
Soundrock Property Consultants
Created a complete Offer/Lease Management system using VB6, SQL 2005 and Crystal Reports. Also created a Meeting Management system for the Web using ASP.NET, Ajax and Crystal Reports.
Workers Compensation Assistance

 

 Took over the maintenance of a claims management system. Managed the integration of this system into the Gauteng Shared Services Centre where it is used to handle all of their IOD claims. Created a SAP integration module to push payments through to SAP. Created a integration to link into SWITCH (they manage all transactions to Medical Aids from Doctors) so that doctors can submit the IOD claims directly through their software. This was written in Access 2003 as the front end, connecting to SQL 2000.
Cell Connect (Botswana)
  • Invoices: A billing system to process invoice extracts from the 2 service providers Orange and Mascom, and create statements and invoices for their clients. A whole set of reports was created to then manage the profits.
  • Fono Fono: A system to accept payments, print invoices, and track phone usage.
  • Phone Loading: A loading system to take the payments and load the phones using a GSM Modem. Using either SMSes or direct phone connection. Developed a SMS handling program for this.
Smartfuel International
 
  • EFT Backend for Forecourt transactions at Petrol Stations.
  • UPS Manager for all brands of UPSes.
  • Desktop Lockdown application.
  • Site linking of transactions to a central location.
  • .NET Web site for reports and chaning of data.

These were done using VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL 2000.
South African Air Force
  Transferred their Navigator Simulator program from RTL/2 (DEC PDP 11) into a Visual Basic front end. Designed a Display Driver to replace their old X-Y Displays for the maps and flight plans. Re-wrote the interface to the hardware in C++ and DCOM to communicate with the X-Y Display computer.
Exatrade Trading Company
Loan Manager system to track Loans and Disbursements. Written in VB 6 and SQL 7.0.
VFP Exchange
  Internet application using ASP, SQL Server and HTML for Foreign Exchange Management. Rates Manager which extracted rates from a pager device. Backoffice application to monitor a database for new deals, and send off documents to the banks.
Aeropropeller
Designed a completed Quote, Invoice, Statement and Log Book system for a Propeller Repair Shop using VB with Microsoft Access.
Employee Relations Strategies
  Wrote 3 Internet applications for them:

  • Mystery Customer. A survey creating and management program.
  • 360. A employee appraisal system.
  • Doc Manager. A Document manager system to do with Employee related documents.

All of these applications were written in ASP.NET using SQL Server.
Trimagic Software
  Re-wrote their library management system. Barcode scanning system for the lending and returning of library books. Written in VB connecting to a DBText Database. Automatically sending off of overdue notices and information E-Mails based on the arrival of certain books.
Novus Petrolium
Document scanning program to scan documents, process the OCR, and save the image and text to a database. Written with VB and DBText database.
1 to 1 Finance
VB.NET rates extraction and display program.
Sydney Options Traders
Trading parseing and reconcilliation program written in VB.
Sani Hire
  Service Run Manager add-on for them to manage the servicing of toilets. Interface with a vehicle tracking unit. Job Manager program to manage quotes and jobs. Done in Rbase and VB.
Oxford Appliance Services
A Service Job Manager to manage the servicing of applicances. Done in Rbase and VB.
Kids-A-Maze
Stock control module. Point of Sale module for Touch screens for restaurant type activities. Done in Rbase and VB.
Kurnell Concrete
Application to calculate the number and types of blocks necessary to build a house based on house plans. Done in VB, Access and Crystal Reports.
Australian Furniture Rentals
Stock and rentals manager. Done with Rbase and Crystal Reports.
Income Tax Professionals
Application to manage Tax Returns and keep track of payments. Done in VB and Crystal Reports.
Medfin
  Report engine to manage their reports and the reports. Used VB, Crystal Reports and SQL Server.
Carrington Cake
Production scheduler to handle the allocation of cake batches and to automatically work out the stock ordering. Written in VB and Rbase.
Abseil Window Cleaners
Job Manager to handle all quote and jobs and a diary system to manage who gets what jobs. Written in VB and Rbase.
Blinds and Awnings
Generic package to handle jobs, quotes and a diary for the Blinds industry. Written in VB with Crystal Reports.
