One of the biggest problems Software Developer have is being able to complete a project within the allocated time and budget. One of the reasons for this is that no proper analysis gets done at the beginning of the project, or the analysis is not detailed enough and the developer lands up doing a lot more than he anticipated, thus increasing the time and budget.
We proud ourselves in being able to correctly estimate our jobs, and being able to bring the projects in on time and within the budget. On of our recent jobs for Professional Career Services required a complete re-write of their software package for the web. Only 2 months were available to complete the project as they were opening up new branches in Bloemfontein and Durban. We did finish the project on time, and within the budget. Creating a full detailed specification for the job is essential if the project is going to be successfull. The first part of the project will be to sit with you and work out exactly what is needed in the system. This may take some time, but it is time well spent. We proud ourselves in being able to write specifications that can be read by anyone that can then be used. |

Being able to give good support is essential to any software solution. We do strive to give the best support possible to our clients.
Over the years we have developed a set of tools that makes this support easier. The software is written so that updates can be gotten to the users easily. Database updates are also handled in a similar way. |

Our software development is all based on Microsoft. Out systems will work on Windows 2000 to Vista. We belong to Microsoft’s MSDN program, so we receive the latest software as it is developed, and use it in our development. So any solution we provide for you will be based on the latest Microsoft tools.
If the client has purchased a version of SQL Server, we will use this as the database. If not, we will provide the free version of SQL Server called SQL Express. We have found this to be sufficient for most of our client’s needs. We can also use Microsoft Access if needed. Where reports are needed for the system, we prefer to use Crystal Reports. |

| Robert Horn acts as the senior architect and analyst. He will be the person to liase with you the client and do the analysis for the job. We then have a team of developers who will do the actual programming. All of this programming is checked and tested by Robert before being released to the client to make sure it fits the specification and works correctly. This ensures that what the client gets is as close to what was wanted as possible. | |||
